The Cat’s and Sprocket’s kittens were growing fast. The area round the pods and the feeding station was still their focal point, as that was where feeding happened twice daily.

They had grown enough to be able to access the top of the water tank under the olive tree and had started spending some time in the drive, supervised by their mothers.

By following The Cat and Sprocket, they had discovered that the garden extended beyond the feeding station area and had extended their range to half way down the garden. Sprocket on top of the water tank with (clockwise from top) Prince, Big Bang, Early Lately and Little Bang – this was a step towards the kittens’ being able to go from the garden to the drive, up the tree and over the wall.

Time to trim the garden, and Big Bang and Prince were investigating the extension lead.

Family time after meals was spent further away from the feeding station now – here half way down the garden, under the citrus trees.

Everything required investigation – no stone was left unturned.
