The Cat knew she was the boss. She was the matriarch of the garden, and Ana was proud to hold the coveted position of Number One Son and protector.

The number of Visiting Cats was starting to increase. They came from the surrounding fields, and from other gardens, stables and small farms. Ana knew he would have to defend The Cat’s Garden, and he readily took on other males who sought to muscle in on his territory, earning himself the name ‘Warrior Cat’.

The Cat and Ana, Warrior Cat, continued to be closely bonded and, as long as everyone remembered that The Cat was the boss and therefore superior in every respect, all was well.
