Named for his love of staying cool during the hot summer by lying in the pea plants, Pea Cat was probably the brother of Ana Half-Tail. On our first day at the property, they fought for ownership of the garden. Never before had fighting tooth and claw at the front end resulted in such a mess at the back end. Considerable mopping up was necessary on the first floor terrace after they graced it with their presence (among other things).

The winner was Ana Half-Tail and Pea Cat was not seen in the garden again. Rumours place him in the neighbouring village, living a doorstep life in peace and quiet without his orange brother to worry him.
